This month’s featured product is the Waist Gun Pack. With spring upon us, many people are thinking of better ways to conceal carry their weapons.  Waist packs have been around for a long time and I thought “What can be said that’s new about such an item.  Boy was I wrong; this is definitely better mouse trap”.  First the quality of the material and workmanship are first rate numerous features.

At the rear of the pack I found the gun compartment opens quickly and easily from either right or left side by way of a small nylon pull thong.  Upon opening, I discovered webbing that may be adjusted to hold the gun in place, which is mounted on Velcro platform, so that the gun can be canted for a comfortable draw.  There is even an elastic ban that will accommodate an extra magazine.

The second, roomy compartment accepts the bulk of the gun with no tell tale lines and with plenty of room for accessories.  There is also a quick release key leash for securely holding keys.

The third pocket has partitions for credit cards and a clear plastic window for ID. 

The fourth, half pocket holds cash or travelers checks.  Yes, I said cash and it is secure as you will see as you read on.

Turning to the back of the waist pack, the back panel is well padded for the comfort of the wearer.  Looking further, a belt loop, which allows the wearer to thread their pants belt through the loop to prevent an attempt to strip the waist pack from it’s owner.  The
1 ½” belt is a single piece of webbing and sewn to the pack for added security.  The belt is adjustable to size 50”.

Dollar for dollar I don’t believe you can find a better value than the WGPM or the WGPL.  The WGPM medium fits small autos and revolvers while the WGPL large will accommodate larger automatics and revolvers.  If you are looking for a secure method of carrying a concealed weapon this certainly is worth considering.
